Description
Like the isNet H@rt8 module, the isNet H@rt8+AI features eight independent HART masters, each with its own separate HART modem. In addition, however, the module provides a 24V power supply for the connected field devices. Furthermore, the module can measure the 4–20 mA current value for each connected field device and forward it to the main module for further processing, and from there to the higher-level Ethernet fieldbuses. Unlike the isNet H@rt8 modules, this approach significantly simplifies the connection of field devices and reduces cabling effort. A simple 2-wire connection from a terminal block on the analog input module to the field device is now sufficient.
